Frequently Asked Questions...
Can anyone help me with my Steampunk costume?
I'm dressing as a Steampunk civilian for Dragoncon. I've never attended DC and I just recently discovered Steampunk, so I'm not really sure where to look and what to get. So far, I've got a bustle skirt, some brown leather mid-calf boots and that's about it. Where should I look/what should I do as far as corsets and/or blouses and accessories go? Right now, I just look like a burlesque dancer. By the way, I'm super strapped for cash, so I'd like inexpensive items (and if anyone who answers this sells Steampunk stuff, PLEASE leave me some info)!
Thanks for your help

They are fairly cheap, as far as steam punk clothing goes. Or if you're like me and handy with needle and thread try to make your own. Well I haven't managed to learn how to make a corset yet but as far as blouses/Accessories/skirts go you could do that. Supplies are fairly cheap and it give you the opportunity to be creative and unique at the same time.
