Do these plaid shorts look like pajama shorts? Or can I wear them outside like regular shorts?
It's going to be about 100 degrees Fahrenheit everyday this week, and these are the only shorts I have that look somewhat okay to wear out. I normally wear them around the house when I'm just lounging around and not planning on going anywhere, but could they be worn as regular plaid shorts? They look less pajama-esque than my other pajama shorts, and when I bought them, they were next to all the other regular denim and plaid shorts and not in with all the sleepwear stuff. But do they still look pajama-ish? I don't exactly know what they are... except that they're knit shorts.

Answer:
With the waistband it does make them look like pajamas. But you said you'd have a shirt covering that, so I think they look fine like that. You can't tell what they are made of or anything from the pictures, they look like normal shorts when the waistband is covered.
